Dream of Unicornication

I guess People who aren’t stalking me have not noticed, but I have in fact moved south, down to California. (New address is on my info page.)

Living in Southern California has been something I’ve fondly imagined since I was a kid, in my native beautiful-but-rainy Seattle. And recently it happened, when my husband accepted a job at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

We┬áreally love it down here so far. Part of my heart will always live in Seattle, but I’m also happy we’re off on another adventure, after living in the same place for so long.

And, not for nothing, Hollywood is not all that far. This may be relevant to my long-term plans.

May your beaches forever be… wel, mossy actually.

I have seen Santa Barbara a few times. It is a charming city for sure. The pier is a lovely place indeed, as is downtown. There is precious little said of Shoreline Park, but it is a beautiful spot right atop the cliffs, great for cool breezes and magnificent views. Also, just west of Santa Barbara is Goleta, birthplace of The Habit Burger Grill.

Indeed. I actually live not that far from Habit. It’s right by Domingo’s, which has great waffles.
